When newly qualified practitioner Rachel Waddington decided to open her own practice she found it impossible to find suitable premises on a budget. This spurred her on to create from scratch a therapeutic venue that could offer the safe reflective comfortable space she was searching for. Almost two years in the making Whet Wellbeing is now a stylish comfortable quiet space for therapists and other practitioners to meet with clients.

Whether you are newly qualified with dreams of starting up your own practice, or already well-established with plans to expand your reach, Whet Wellbeing offers a calm inviting space in a convenient location and may be just what you are looking for.

Whet has three rooms for hire on an ad hoc basis or a ‘same day each week’ monthly rolling contract with no tie-in. One room is located on the ground floor with a further two rooms on the first floor. The rooms are ideally sized for working therapeutically with individuals and/or couples. The largest room would comfortably accommodate groups of around 8 or 9 people in easy chairs for group work and workshops.

The premises are located close to M1 Junction 36 in Hoyland which is a residential area on the border of Barnsley, Sheffield and Rotherham. The premises are a short walk from the number 66 and 265 bus routes. There is sufficient on-road parking for therapists and clients.

We are currently undertaking to create wheelchair access to the ground floor with completion expected in 2019.
